Hello there! My name is Jon Doble, but I’m sure you already had a pretty good guess from the site address and the header.

I am a 25 year old student. I currently attend Appalachian State University and am majoring in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology. I’m not exactly sure where life is going to take me, but I’m slowly building a map of how I want to get there.

I am a huge sports fan and I’ve always dreamed of being involved in a major sport, somehow and someway. Not being the most athletic person on the face of the planet, I was forced with the idea of being unable to play (though I still think, given some support, I could have turned into a career minor league baseball player).  However, there are more than just players in sports.

My goal is to someday work in the marketing/PR side of things for a race team in NASCAR. My current game plan has me getting the degree in Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology from Appalachian while I am still considering a Marketing minor. Then, it should be off to graduate school for a Master’s in Media and Communications. It is my hope that that makes me appealing for a job that I would enjoy in the racing business.
